About this game
Racha is a 3D racing game with realistic physics and an open city to explore. Drive free along avenues, the beach and hill roads through traffic, with day and night and rain. Stop at race spots to enter circuits, sprints, drift and time trials, earn money and use the garage to buy cars, parts, paint and rims. Tires lose grip, weight shifts through corners and you choose a manual or automatic gearbox and which driving aids to use. All cars are fictional, inspired by street classics. 3D models: "Generic Sport Coupé Car" by MMC Works and "Generic passenger car pack" by Comrade1280 (CC BY 4.0, via Sketchfab, modified). How to play
- Accelerate with W or the up arrow and brake with S or the down arrow (hold S at a stop to reverse). Steer with A and D or the side arrows.
- Use the space bar (handbrake) to start a drift. With the manual gearbox, E or Shift shifts up and Q shifts down. C changes the camera and R puts the car back on the road.
- In the city, press M to open the map: click a street to plot a GPS route, or use Travel to jump to a place you have already found.
- Stop inside the ring of a race spot to see its events and pick the difficulty. Each event only accepts cars of its class (D, C, B, A or S).
- Earn money by winning races, going fast through speed traps, scoring in drift zones and brushing past traffic. In the garage, buy cars, parts, paint and rims. Esc pauses the game.
Tips
- With the aids off, feed the throttle gently out of corners so you don't spin.
- In a drift, countersteer lightly and stay on the throttle to hold the angle.
- At night only your headlights and the street lamps light the road: learn the braking points by day.
- Parts make a car faster but can push it up a class: check the PI before buying so you keep its current class events.
